Gard™ Refrigeration Compressor Oil
Product Description
Refrigeration compressors run around-the-clock and must be lubricated with oils that resist forming tacky deposits which result in a reduced refrigeration capacity. Gard™ Refrigeration Compressor Oil is engineered from highly refined naphthenic base oils. It is essentially wax-free as shown by its low pour points and floc temperature. Gard Refrigeration Compressor Oil is designed for use in refrigeration compressors utilizing ammonia, CFC (chlorofluorocarbon), and HCFC (hydro-chlorofluorocarbon) refrigerants. It is not recommended for use with HFC (hydro-fluorocarbon) refrigerants such as HFC-134a (R-134a).
Gard Refrigeration Compressor Oil is a chemically and thermally stable oil that provides:
- A clean operating fluid that is suitable for recirculation
- A low carryover into refrigerant
Gard Refrigeration Compressor Oil is available in ISO 32, 46, and 68.
