Gard™ Safegard™ Low Ash Natural Gas Engine Oil is blended using OEM approved additives to meet the tough demands of natural gas engines while promoting cleanliness. Safegard Low Ash Natural Gas Engine Oil is ideal for use in two- and four-stroke cycle natural gas fueled engines where the manufacturer specifies a service performance level of API CF or API CD. Additionally these oils are commonly used in both small and large engines powered by natural gas and compressing natural gas on distribution pipelines and power generating applications.

Safegard Low Ash Natural Gas Engine Oil has outstanding protection against piston wear, linear scuffing, and varnish build. Additionally, Safegard Low Ash Natural Gas Engine Oil provides:

• Antiwear protection for pistons, liners, rings, valves, and other moving parts
• A low ash formula to minimize valve recession and combustion chamber deposits
• Reduction of sludge formation in top end of engine
• Compatibility with fuels containing low sulphur and CFCs
• Reduction of spark plug fouling and pre-ignition
