Product Description
Gard™ Safegard™ Ashless Natural Gas Engine Oil is engineered using an advanced additive technology system to promote outstanding cleanliness and protection of engine parts. Safegard Ashless Natural Gas Engine Oil is designed for the lubrication of the crankcase, power cylinders and compressor cylinders of spark-ignited, two- and four-cycle gas engines operating on clean fuel. Safegard Ashless Natural Gas Engine Oil is also ideal for engines that drive generators for power production or gas compressors used in the gathering, transmission, storage, and distribution of natural gas.
Safegard Ashless Natural Gas Engine Oil provides an excellent break in and anti-scuff protection for high BMEP engines and provides:
- Antiwear protection for pistons, liners, rings, valves, and other moving parts
- A high level of chemical and thermal stability
- An ashless formula minimizing valve recession and combustion chamber deposits
- Reduction of sludge formation in the top end of the engine
- Reduction of spark plug fouling and pre-ignition
- Outstanding protection for high output engines fueled by natural gas
- Compatibility with fuels containing low sulphur levels
- Extended drain intervals and extended filter life
